So Keiko and I were talking about "The Birdcage" last night, and we both mentioned that one of our favorite moments was when Albert (Nathan Lane) got mad at Armand (Robin Williams) for raising his voice.

Albert: Don't use that tone of voice with me!
Armand: What tone?
Albert: That contemptuous tone that says that you know everything and I know nothing because you're a man and I'm a woman.
Armand: You're not a woman.
Albert: Oh, you bastard!

I couldn't help it, I HAD to apply this to ZADR. I am now obsessed with the idea of an insanely effeminate and oh-so-GAY Zim. It pleases me. I've been drawing it all day.

I'm in absolute love with the last panel. And Dib's earring. It makes him look so Jhonen-esque. 8D I think this is how I'll draw them from now on.

Zim and Dib belong to Jhonen Vasquez, who is sharpening his knife as we speak.

It's a movie starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lane as a gay couple (Armin and Albert, respectivly) who own a drag club. Robin Williams son (from a previous hetero relationship) is planning on getting married to the daughter of a Christian Conservative senator played by Gene Hackman, so Armin and Albert have to pretend to be straight. The movie is fucking hysterical and everybody in the movie is awesome (particularily Nathan Lane who plays the GAYEST GUY IN HISTORY. He's so damn cute.) I highly recommend it.
