My happy ending

My first submitted piece of Phantom of the Opera art! Yaaaaay. (I'm not feeling particularily hilarious today)

Last night, my brother's girlfriend was listening to Avril Lavigne's "My Happy Ending". While I confess I've never been a fan of Avril's, the lyrics to the song reminded me a lot of Erik's (The Phantom's) feelings for Christine, particularily after she dumped him for RAOUL, WHO IS A PANSY!!!! *cough* Sorry, I don't like Raoul. Well, more accurately, I was rooting for Erik to chop into tiny little pieces then throw the pieces to the rats. Can you tell I adore Erik? Anypoodle...I added the lyrics overlapping the drawing. They're hard to read, but it looks nice in my opinon.

I'm very proud of the colouring on this pic. I didn't shade Erik's little memories, cause I thought it added to the dreaminess. And yes, that IS Erik she's kissing. Remember at the end of the movie when she took off Erik's mask and for some reason his hair got all blond and baldy for no apparant reason other than to make him look freaky? That's what that is.
